gp100 new to me
the head space in my 2003 ruger is .007 it seems unifourm for all cylinders.
is this good bad or the ugly...i havent shot her yet.
thanks in advance for all your expertise.

Just shoot it and see how she prints. Typically a cylinder gap is supposed to be between .003 and .008 normally. In my opinion you are fretting about nothing. How is the end shake and lock up???
Buy some ammo, targets and shoot her and post a report...Join the groups protecting your rights from the fools trying to take them from you!

That is a little on the high side. I would take it to a competent gunsmith and have it checked out. It is more than likely safe to shoot. It would probably put on an impressive light show if you were to shoot it at night.

Are you referring to head space or the barrel to cylinder gap? Head space is the gap between the head of the cartridge and the face plate.

I would take it to a competent gunsmith and have it checked out.
Rugers are the Maytags of the gun industry. I have seen exactly one broken Ruger in over 40 years of shooting (not worn out but that is another story). Not saying they can't break but very rare.
If you take it to a gunsmith and he finds something wrong you can send it to the best Ruger repair facility, the Ruger factory, who will probably fix it for free.

finally got to shoot last nite in sellersville.
20ft .357 win silvertip.hardly any kick...smooth trigger POA perfectally.
im convinced she hardley had been shot.
the .007 is exactally the same as my NEW M&P 340 .357.
im looking to replace the iron blade with a hiviz....any suggestions on where to go to get one.

So i take it you are happy with her? Just donr let you finger anywhere near the cylinder gap when you shoot it?
Incidentally all my Taurus revos meaSURED A 4 AND ALL my Smiths measured a 6 , Donr own any Rugers yet , waiting to find a a LNIB # 2.75 inch security six in blue or stainless , drooling. ah, thats me.
