Has anyone used ghost ring sights on a pistol?

I'm considering trying a set of Ameriglo ghost ring sights on my Glock. Anyone tried them before? Pros/cons?

Ghost rings on a pistol are pretty unique. My personal opinion is that the ghost rings help me get on target faster, but YMMV. If you're like me and you like the rings, by all means go for it.

The only con I can think of would be if you're using it on a carry pistol, it might snag more easily. Also if you get a little piece of lint or fuzz in that ring you'd have a serious issue on your hands if you needed to use it in self defense.

I have ghost rings but they are mounted on my Ruger Redhawk 44 mag with a 7 1/2" barrel. I carry that with me when I go deer hunting. Don't know if I would want them on a carry gun because of the snag potential.

I shot a hi point with them on it, worked pretty well actually.

They are slower for target acquisition and transitions than normal post and notch type sights.
