sub 2000 question
I finally got a Kel Tec Sub 2000. Took it to the range for the first time today and after about 50 rnds it started to misfire. I gave up on the sub unloaded and put it away, and shot the rest of my mags with my glock 17. Upon returning home and once again checking the gun to be sure it weas clear i started to look at what was causing the problem, i noticed the sheer was sliding on the sheer pin away from the trigger bar, and was not allowing the sheer to release the hammer. basically the trigger bar was slipping off the sheer berore it could pull it forward.
Finally the question has anyone fully disassembled a sub 2000, i could fix it easily if i could disassemble it. I have considered using a C clip on the sheer pin to avoid additional wear on the plastic reciever, but would much rather a brass washer.
Id really hate to send this back to kel tec, i already have one gun that has spent most of its life at taurus, i dont want this one to spend all its time at kel tec.
Any advice?

Re: sub 2000 question
honestly, send it to Keltec.
I had mine, an early one, and they had a plastic mag catch that broke.
I sent it in, had it back in 2 weeks, free of charge, with the upgraded mag catch.
they have a fantastic warranty, use it!"Oderint Dum Metuant" - BMFH
