possible to skin?

im not exactly computer elite, but i think if possible that a darker skin maybe grey or black, or even tan.... something less harsh on the eyes, could be benefitial. even the blue that is the background might work, and would keep the theme.

at night we all know that looking at white can cause eye strain

I use Firefox and have gone under the color options and chosen gray for my background for all pages...like it was in the "old days" of browsers

I have always preferred this "original" color scheme as it is easier on the eyes.

For some reason Explorer does not always conform to my color choice...another reason I hate it and always use Firefox

well some of us arent endowed with the greatness of owning a pc , therefor browser options are not available.... i use a ppc, anda ps3 to harass youz guys from out of state. but i think an available choice would be neat for night owls

ppc meaning a Mac, or are you referencing the PPC chip in the ps3? Firefox should have a PPC build for Macs, not sure about the ps3

So, there are no background color options you can set for all pages on your device...even though you do not have a "regular" computer?

This is not possible within the forum software, if you can do it somehow in your OS/browser there might be a way.

I see shades of blue and it doesn't bother my eyes at all.
I'm using Firefox (hate Internet Exploder), and didn't realize there was a problem.
Am I missing something? If I am maybe I should be thankful.

I've never used a Mac, but I've always wondered why they can't be "personal" computers like an IBM clone. Are they public, or some sort of shared property?
