    Default ruger lcp .380 what ammo?

    well just as alot of you already have i just put my order in for a lcp .380. now what ammo are ya`s loading it with for CCW ? what is a good powerful round for this little gun?

    I carry fiocchi 380 FMJ's when i carry my P3AT, a .380 HP doesnt give you enough penetration. out of all the FMJ's I put on my chrony out of my P3AT fiocchi was the hottest.

    a .380 HP doesnt give you enough penetration.
    I tend to agree. The same goes for .32.

    Buffalobore has some interesting (hot) stuff for the .380.

    Ranger RA380T 380acp 95gr JHP ammo

    Speer GoldDot 90gr JHP

    or

    Rem GoldenSaber 102gr JHP

    I am now carrying the Buffalo Bore Gold dot in my P3-AT and will in my LCP when it arrives. Very hot loads....as .380's go.

    That is what I carry in my Walther PPK/S. It is what I plan to carry in the LCP as well. Boy I wish it would hurry up and get here!
