funny encounter while oc'ing today

went to the alburtis rod and gun club this morning, on our way back there was a car stopped in the middle of the road. everyone is driving around the car as we drove by we decided to stop and see if she needed help. cutting the story short... she snapped her front driver side rod and link... we escorted her across the street to the gas station on our way there. a lady saw me carrying (a patron of the gas station)
her: are you a cop
me: nope
her why do you carry a gun
me: self defense and my rights to
her: and you carry like that
me:yep
at that point she litterally tantrum off to her car and all i heard was her saying" he's not a cop and he is carrying gun" to her passenger..
she litterally ran to her car like my gun was gonna pop out and started firing...hahaha
she drove off while we were on the phone with AAA for the lady
a cop pulled up
he walked up to me looked at my firearm and ask what happen to the car?...lol
as we were talking to the cop he got on his radio saying code something and no need for assistant.
as the cop thanks us for helping out the lady.. guess who i saw slowly driving by.. miss tantrum...hahaha

Well, I can clearly understand her concern, I mean, Shoot-em-up Charlie goes around randomly shooting people, LOL.

I just have to shake my head at some people. The more I go out with Viper, the more I want to smack people for being so naive and close-minded.

Glad the LEO wasn't concerned. She should have taken her cues from him.

If you spend more time around anti's (and I hope you don't for your stress level), you'll find that most of them don't really like LEO's or the fact that they have guns either. They'll admit the need for LEO's, but would rather they didn't have guns either.

I've found from talking to numerous anti's that they really have no regard for their fellow citizens. You'll hear "well, thats not my job, thats the job of the police" when confronted with a million situations where an armed citizen with a gun is the first (and often times best) person that could respond.

i honestly think so...hahaha
my wife has to laugh at the way she stormed off to her car and flipping out about how i was carrying and i am not a cop...
i gotta admit though people aren't so nice, i mean there were at least 10 to 15 cars that passed the old lady that didn't even batted an eye... the poor thing was so upset that her car was not working. i love how they just ignored people but God forbid something happened to them and no one cry for them...o well i am glad that i was able to lend a hand to someone in need. i just pray for miss tantrum that she will never need help from a citizen that own a gun. she need concealed a cop or something...hahaha

hahaha i was raised to know better.. and that is how i teach my kids. not only through words but through my actions too.

Funny story. The sad thing about Miss Tantrum is, despite what she saw with her own two eyes, she will probably continue to have that same fearful ignorant attitude.
