Taurus model PT92 price and info.

Today I found a used PT92 in Stainless (polished) that comes with 5 mags, 17 rounders I think, the price is 359. Does this sound like a good deal? I used to own an older model and never had any problems although it was not the most accurate gun I ever shot. The newer ones all have the decocker. Is there any issues with these I should know about. It is a very good looking gun and feels solid but I am somewhat hesitant to bring another Taurus home. Thanks, Brian

They're good to go, basically a Beretta with a different name stamped in it. They're built off Beretta tooling so it's 100% Beretta in everything but name--I say go for it immediately.

I bought a used PT92 for $289 3 or so years ago (EDC gun and LOVE IT!). Came with 1-12rd and 1-15rd mag. I'd say it's a good deal considering it's also stainless.

By the way, it's not 100% Beretta. A few parts don't swap out and mags CAN work with some modification. The catch hole needs to be filed a bit bigger in the southern direction.

Great gun, I stake my life on mine when I leave the house.
