Default Major MG shoots in PA?

Saw this on google, apparently it's kid-friendly. We need something like this in PA...we can do it better.

    And Knob Creek:

Probably western PA, given all the stray rounds flying off.

there arent any major ones in PA that are "open to the public", most are private invite shots on private land.

check the Subguns.com "shoting events" board for info on most US shoots, east and west coast.

Some are within a couple hours drive.

A bunch of us usually go to the coal pits in the Freeland/Hazelton area a couple of times during the year and there are a number of NFA toys to play with. We have met a number of nice guys from this board at these shoots and you don't have to have NFA to come, just bring anything you like to shoot. Keep an eye in the "shoots and range trips" section of this board, we will probably plan something in April or May at the latest.

That's pretty close to me, I'd like to be out there on a regular basis. Who do I have to contact to go out there? Who owns/manages it? With my luck it doesn't work like that...

I have to make the next one of these as I am only about 20 miles or so away.

We used to have good ones up in Susquehanna. But the host moved.
Had cars, etc. One time they even tied off the steering wheel and tuurned up the idle on a car so it would circle
I need to digitize those VHS tapes and post them.

Yeah, the old "Root Shoots", that was back in 2000-2002, we had a lot of fun shooting up those cars! Hopefully Root can get off for the coal pit shoots.
