    Default Farm Show Complex - Gun Show

    Does anyone know was the deal is with carrying at the gun show this weekend at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg? I haven't been to a gun show since I received my LTCF. I seem to remember seeing vendors OCing there but they also ask to stick a zip tie in pistols if you bring one to sell.

    I don't know of their exact policy, but the last time when I walked in, there is a guy at the door that asks 'are you bringing in any guns today?' If you intend to sell it and it will be out, it should be zip tied, but they don't pat you down.

    I checked the Farm show Complex, and followed the link to the operators of the show. They clearly state, NO LOADED FIREARMS ARE PERMITTED due to promoters insurance requirements, unless you have a LTCF and proof of liability insurance. (although I am not aware of any type of insurance for people with a LTCF)

    It may be referring to personal liability insurance. You can get policies of a million dollars or more. I guess they want to be sure if you shoot somebody they can get a big settlement

    And mine. With a LTCF and a properly concealed firearm you should be fine. Besides, thats hardly the environment anybody would try to harass a LTCF carrier in... too many people would back you up :P
