    Default XD Sighting-In

I have an XD-45 and shoot on a regular basis (at least once a week) and I have always had a problem with it shooting to the left at 25 yards (most noticable). I have tried changing my grip and nothing seems to change it. Has anyone else had or have this problem?

have you had other people shoot your gun? Are you sure you are not twitching the trigger or anticipating recoil?

Are you 100% sure its the gun?

Create some space between the proximal joint of your trigger finger and the frame of the pistol. IOW, you have to much finger on the trigger. Use just the pad. In rifle shooting this is called "dragging wood" meaning you're applying "leftward" pressure as you press the trigger.

It doesn't really show up much at close range but back at 25 it begins to be noticeable.

I have one also and it is the best shooter I have..It took me some time to be accurate with my Glock..But the XD 45 from the first time I fired it is the most accurate gun I own..Just use the crease in your finger of your little top knuckle and squeeze away..It is so accurate at 7,10,& 25 yards..
