    Default colt

traded even for a colt official police in 38spl from 1931, this morning.
not really a fan of pony guns. the lock works just isn't as smooth as the smiths i prefer. not really digging the pull to open either, but you can't enjoy wheel guns without spreading love to the prancing pony.
picked a two inch colt commando up some time ago, which is a descendente of the O/P.
i do not know scat about colts. but what pisses me off is some of my most interesting pieces are ponies. not to mention my oldest pistol is a colt.

Not a fan? Have you ever fired a King Cobra or Python? Smooth like freakin' butter.

i would certainly hope so from a premium gun like the python or the rather limited production kc.

I have had several older Colts like picture above.
They are fine revolvers and will reward you with great shooting pleasure!
I too prefer Smith revolvers but I have a Colt DS from 1928 and a cobra from 1965...

Again I have to ask, how does the slide work on them? How many mags came with it?

I have been looking for a Colt Magnum Carry but they are far and few between. The ones I have found are out of my price range!
