I hate to sound defeatist, but I think Pa*s best years as far as gun laws are behind us. The state has been creeping further blue for years. We have 2 democratic federal senators, a Democratic governor for the 3rd term in a row and a house that is now blue. It feels like when, not if the Senate will be lost. If that happens, look for gun control bill to start passing.
Hopefully I am wrong. But I have not been feeling hopeful about the future of this state as guns go.
It doesn't hurt to let them know what's on our minds, the PSP website says there are over 1.6 million LTCF holders in the Commonwealth. It would be a great thing if those 1.6 million voiced their opinion on the matter.

At least most/many Sheriffs seem to be reasonable about permits

That's just it. Those 1.6 million do not remotely hold the same opinions on
most any matter. I hope you do not believe they all think and act as one just
because they have a PA LTCF.
I have personally spoken to many who have no clue what their LTCF allows them
to do and what it does not.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Re: Constitutional Carry
Just imagine if only half of us 1.6 million would call our Reps. It would send a message.
Imagine if we had 100,000, 200,000 out of them 1.6 million at the state house for the 2A Rally. It would send a message.
Imagine if all 1.6 million voted, the election results would be a lot different.

I understand that everyone of the 1.6 million don't hold the same opinions, but if they value their 2A rights and let their Reps know it, weather their Rep is D or R it would send a message.

Re: Constitutional Carry
Since the Bruen out come the 2A community across the country should be on the offensive, we should have legal defense funds setup in every state to go after every unconstitutional law on the books. Including the NFA 1934, GCA 1968, and portions of the FOPA 1986.

While it certainly shouldn't hurt, 1.6 million people isn't much at all considering the state has just under 13 million. Hell, the City of Philadelphia is 1.5 million alone. One thing I've learned over the years living here, rights caring gun owners are a very small amount here compared to the overall picture, even among other gun owners. I see it at the gun club I belong to. The fudds don't care about people who want to be able carry all the time. Sadly it's a losing battle, and as mentioned, this state is turning bluer with every election.
