FASTEST .22 LR

what manufacture makes the fastest .22lr, and who has them for sale at a half decent price. thanks in advance. BTW, its just for plinking, doesn't need to be match or anything like that.

The fastest I found with just a quick search are Stingers with a MV of 1640.

CCI also makes the Segmented Hollow Point 32 gr with a MV of 1640, just be sure it is the 32 gr and not the 40 gr, as the 40 gr has a MV of 1050.

I like Velocitors, but with a MV of 1435, a bit slower than Stingers and Segmented Hollow Points 32 gr.

Stingers and Velocitors I get locally in Newark.

Remington- I didn't see any velocities published on their web pages.

Just be sure that your gun can handle the hyper velocity ammo. You'll end up damaging it otherwise.

oh hell ya, its only for the mossberg, damn barrel is almost an inch in diameter and weighs about 10lbs
