1911 sight part duex - Straight 8's
Has anyone had straight 8's installed on a 1911? I used a Glock wearing them at a training class and was thinking to replace the existing sights on my 1911 with a set of straight 8's. I'm a little reluctant to have my slide machined and reblued but I guess if I gotta...
Anyway, any feedback would be much appreciated.

Flat back rear and either big fiber in front or night sights.

I have straight 8's on my Taurus 24/7 Pro. They're ok, but I'd rather have something else. A good fiber optic front sight would be much better IMO.
