You enjoy your snow! AND KEEP IT!!! LOL! I am NOT a fan! We had flurries today and you'd have thought it was snowing gingerbread men out there the way my kids were carrying on. I mean it wasn't laying anywhere or anything...THANK GOD! It looks pretty but it makes a mess, it's a PITA to clean up, it doesn't look pretty after it's disturbed, it just means it's that much colder outside and when we get a substantial amount it means...it means...ugh....NO SCHOOL!!!

OK, for everyone is PA. Here it is in a nutshell. (I would think you all would have this one figured out by now)

If you don't like snow. You are on the wrong side of the Mason Dixon Line. Pack your gear up and move SOUTH so you can be SOUTHERNERs and you won't get snow.

We are NORTHERNERS, and we are suppose to get snow. Hence the name NORTHERNERS. You silly bears just don't understand.

If you are a NORTHERNER, you are not allowed to complain about snow. Because there is a solution to your problem. Pack up and move SOUTH. If you are going to stay and be a NORTHERNER, then you have to learn to love snow. It comes with the territory.

I love snow. LOVE IT. And hence, I am a northerner. Actually, I'm thinking about moving to VERMONT when I retire in a couple years. Just got to talk the betterhalf into it.

My barn manager is praying for snow, she wants my minature horse to learn to drive/pull a sled.
It's called Pony Skitching and this is from 3 years ago.
We'd have three sleds, three horses.. and a RACE!!

I love snow. And my driveway is about 100 yards long. I don't have a snowblower. I pack it down with my 4x4. I shovel where I park. I must admit, at times I dread getting up or down my driveway.

You have to find something to like about snow. Which means finding something fun to do in it.

Learn to ski, try crosscountry, really try snowshoeing... I highly recommend snowshoeing. Lots of fun. Very easy. Good exercise. (My parents are 72 and they both love snowshoeing.)

Then spend a few bucks on good long underwear. They make stuff that will keep you warm. But you can't buy it at Wal-Mart. And it isn't cheap.

Get outside.... stay warm...... and you will love snow too.

Now, when the heck is this storm going to get here????

Snow or not we have to deal with it. When we do get it I end up snow blowing the side street that our drive is on. Then I do 4 or 5 houses up the street. There was a turn around across the Main st. I would also do that as well.

It always amazes me that people who have always lived in the area forget how to drive in the snow.
