30-06, 308, 45 acp and what else?
What other calibers are out there that are the same base? I reload the 308 and 45 currently, and will soon be reloading 06, but what else is out there?

Any rifle cartridge based on the .308 or 30/06 thats necked up or down. Also any handgun cartridge based on the .45 ACP necked down (.400 CorBon I believe), or longer (.45 Winchester Mag, and .460 Rowland, IIRC).

I believe the 35 Whelen is a necked up 30-06. I won a Remington 700 CDL in that caliber, did a little research, but haven't even shot it yet. I bought a box of shells and scoped it, but think I'll wait to zero it in until I need it for an elk or bear hunt, especially at $40-50 for a box of 20 rounds. And that was a little over a year ago. Scary what they might be now!
