Firearm repair question
When a firearm is sent back to the manufacturer what type (if any) chain of custody documentation is provided? Since the gun is not in the owners hands for a period of time it seems like there should be some documentation that the gun is not actually in the registered owners hands during the time it is being repaired.

Re: Firearm repair question
There is no registration in Pa.
As such, no "documentation" would ever be required for any firearm not in your possession.
When you send a firearm to a FFL holder the FFL logs the receipt from you and the disposition back to you in his/her bound book.
Again, noting needed on your end._________________________________________
