Just got home. Make sure you guys check your firearms. I uncased my revolvers and they were soaked with condensation.

A good shoot IMO regardless of rain. I got some good feedback about the side shoots and ammo conservation. Everybody agrees there's enough .22 RF around and most everybody is willing to share ammo so that we could do a rimfire bullseye pistol and rifle shoot. Another battlefield pick up is doable due the low round count involved. Then a pistol and shotgun turkey shoot. So... A bit more variety than I initially thought which is a good thing.

Personally I really enjoyed this shoot despite the rain. Most of the time I'm busy. This time I actually got a chance to talk to everybody, a refreshing change of pace for me.

I had a lot of fun as well, thanks again for organizing these and thanks to everyone that helps out! I didn't dress as warmly as I should have, and also forgot my hand warmers (thanks, @EmptyMag), but it was a great event with good company.

I wont be making it this time, been trying to kick this cold for 2 weeks and a cold wet day wont help. And I wanted to try out some new to me revolvers...

Even though my day started badly, and I got there late, and having forgotten the damned cardboard at home, and the rain not really letting up, I'm glad I went.
A bad day of shooting is better than a good day at work.

Yep, that was a good time! Thanks Sam for another fun competition and Minh for cooking.

The weather wasn't much of a problem, until it was time to break down the target stands and steel in the cold pouring rain. That was the fastest cleanup ever!
