    Default intro post

Just found you all and joined today. I don't usually do intro posts but I'm super psyched to find local people who are so awesome.

I grew up country and used to know alot about guns. Our family idea of a holiday was ditching my boyfriend with my mom so we could all skeet shoot in peace. well 15 years and 2 kids later I kind of let my shooting hobby fall to the wayside. Now I took up geocaching and find myself deep in the woods with 2 ten year olds and a chihuahua.

now I'm getting excited about shooting all over again. Hubby loves it. he too lost the spark as life got busy.

Well rather then sit and wait for the obligatory welcome I'll pose a question:

I hike day and night with above mentioned kids and critters (some times I bring the St. Bernard) I'm looking for a good reliable concealable weapon that's not too costly.

After reviewing other sites I know I want to shoot a Kel tec P-3AT what would you recommend?

Thanks fingers, I added her to the list.

Welcome to the PAFOA. Stick around & you will get lots of suggestions.

I noticed that you have twins. Both of my twin boys are on here also. P-11 Shooter & Joe Smith. Hopefully when the time comes, we will see your boys posting here as well.

Kahr MK9. Well manufactured, thin, decently lightweight, all metal, basically foolproof and pretty low maintenance. Disassembly and reassembly are somewhat irritating until you get used to it. It's a definite K.I.S.S. weapon.
