Default Shipping a rifle in PA

I searched, but could not find what i was looking for.
I'm almost 100% sure, that i can sell a long gun to someone in PA and ship it to them without using a FFL, but how do i go about it? Does it need shipped a certain way? Do i need to tell them what i'm shipping? Ect... I like USPS the best, can i use them?

    Thanks guys,

    -Samuel

Yea thanks guys! One last thing, so i need to tell the USPS people what is in the box if they do not ask? Should i just pack it up and send it off? Or do i take it in and finish taping it up there after they look at it?

Negative. I have worked for UPS, and you do not want someone in a warehouse possibly knowing a rifle is in a package. Trust me, packages fall off the belts very easily.

I have also shipped rifles through UPS, and if they ask what is in it- you say a telescope. If you want to take insurance go for it. But you are shipping on a need to know basis- and frankly they don't need to know.
