    Default A noisy holster

I use a CrossBreed to carry my sidearm and I cant seem to silence the squeak that comes from the kydex clips against the leather belt. Normally on a leather holster I would just use baby powder. Has anyone figured out what could silence this plastic on leather squeak?

I've used candle wax on my Crossbreed. It'll work for a while then start squeeking again. About 6 months ago I took a piece of beeswax, heated it with a ligher and rubbed melted beeswax on the leather behind the clip. No more squeek!

Thank you for your suggestion. You are right about the noise. I wore the holster without a belt and it still squeaked. I placed some felt pads on the back of the clip facing the leather backing and it stopped the noise.

When I ordered mine, I got a slight bit of squeak with the kydex clips. I switched to the new steel clips about 3 days later, no more squeak.
