    Default PSP and Gun Registration and records as of today!

    Just to realize what Gun Registration is in PA. Listening to a local PD on the radio. Guy had a COLT Series 80 .45acp with a serial number . PD ran the gun to make sure it was his.. Took dispatch a whole 30 seconds.. Must be a slow night., or a great database..

    So if the Fee registration bill passes, the PSP will know who's door to come knocking on..

    Got to love the non-keeping of records that the Feds do.. Too bad the states don't follow their lead..

    PSP = Pennsylvania State Police

    And thats why you should write your senator about S.B. 738. Which would specifically forbid any record keeping. IE tell the PSP their database is illegal.

    Sounds good - but it's sort of like the PSP not asking and requiring your social security number - just as your CCW permit does.

    On the 4473 form the SSN is optional. Not on the PSP form or CCW form. They even print your SSN on your permit (As it's only for identification).

    My LTCF card does not have my SSN printed on it. There's a box and it's empty.

    No SSN on mine, although I was told if I didn't provide it on the application, otherwise "delay and possible denial" of the application might occur.

    Gentlemen, check posting by Phillyd2: http://locallancasteronline.com
    Law suit brought my former military person against the Sherrif of Lancaster
    County, and PSP. Violation of the "PRIVACY ACT 1974, UNLAWFUL TO USE
    SSN. I am pretty sure Dan also posted on this case. SSN no longer can
    appear on you permit to carry.

    Ask yourself , if USA was invaded where would these armies go ? They would get the paper records that FFL dealers are required to keep. Iran is not the #1 problem America faces, IMHO it is Russia.China, the Governments of Latin America as they would more than likely cooperate with Russia and China
