Re: nonresident permit
UT or FL are your best bets for a Non-Resident permit.

Re: nonresident permit
You can get one from PA since IL does not issue licenses. The requirement to have a license from your home state is if your home state issues them. Three states are exempt of the requirement: IL, WI, and VT.
The PA license would be honored in most of the states that we have agreements with, except those that require the holder to be a resident of the issuing state of which are: FL, WV, MI, CO, and NH.
Apply to the Centre County Sheriff, Dennis Nau. You will have your license within 2-3 weeks. http://www.co.centre.pa.us/sheriff/l...pplication.asp

A license shall not be issued to any of the following:
...
(ix) A resident of another state who does not possess a current license or permit or similar document to carry a firearm issued by that state if a license is provided for by the laws of that state, as published annually in the Federal Register by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms of the Department of the Treasury under 18 U.S.C. § 921(a)(19) (relating to definitions).

Re: nonresident permit
Hello Knight0334 / all ...
Head's up:
In less than one month, the number of "Resident Only" states drops from 7 to 6.
WV HB 3314 goes into effect July 10, WV will then recognize "non-resident" permits from those states where they already recognize the "resident" permit; so for example as of July 10 a PA Resident who only had a Utah Non-Resident CFP could then carry in WV.
Lone exception is that a West Virginia Resident can only carry in WV on a WV issued permit.
(for reference: the remaining "Resident Only" states are KS and SC, due to training requirements neither has reciprocity with PA at this time)

Re: nonresident permit
I didn't see it posted, so here is the PA AG web page on reciprocity
http://www.attorneygeneral.gov/crime.aspx?id=184If you don't know who your state legislators are go here:
http://www.legis.state.pa.us/index.cfm
put your zip plus 4 in the box in the upper right hand corner.
