Lancaster City Council Passes Lost/Stolen Law
Lancaster city council passes the "lost or stolen" gun law. I didn't see this after a few searches. Just got the e-mail from the NRA.

Mayor gray isn't worried about lawsuits being filed. Due to the fact the Brady campaign is offering free legal services.Last edited by Evolution; June 10th, 2009 at 08:56 PM.

Why don't all the gun owners start reporting firearms missing. When they come or call, "Oh, I just found it. Thanks."

We could always just send them hundreds of blue-back, Notice of Intent to File Suit....

Re: Lancaster City Council Passes Lost/Stolen Law
I'd be curious to find out if the Brady Bunches legal services that their offering gratis to these wayward Cities are costing the Brady Bunch anything .
If they've got Attorneys working Pro Bono thats one thing . But if the Brady Bunch is having to dip into their pockets to pay for all the legal battles , then there might just be a silver lining . The NRA has WAY deeper pockets then the Brady's , maybe we can cost them so much to fight all these illegal resolutions that their piggy bank will go broke ?
Mayor Gray , Nutty and all the others may not care if the legal costs of defending their actions are " free " but Im sure we can find something they DO care about that will get their attention
Maybe PAFOA and the other groups could figure out a way to come up with the cash to take out full page newspaper ads or billboards or something to inform the sheeple of their elected officials illegal acts ? What about You Tube PSA's , maybe they'll go viral ? The current environment is pretty ripe to highlight , foster and encourage contempt for the " do as I say , not as I do " mentality amongst elected officials . The kettle is already boiling on a national level , no reason we cant help make it boil over by turning up the heatLast edited by son of the revolution; June 11th, 2009 at 04:45 PM.

Re: Lancaster City Council Passes Lost/Stolen Law
In all reality there shouldn't be any need for a suit against the City to kill the bill. It should take no more than a call from the Pennsylvania Attorney General telling the City they have committed an illegal act and either withdraw the law or face the consequences under existing state law.
