Default Would there be an issue

Would there be an issue if we had a thread saying that we saw a gun in a shop. If any one was interested?

Such as I saw a Smith 500 in a shop last week. The also had an Armalite 50bmg.

They also had a Browning Citori.

I don't think this would be against any rules. But I might be wrong.

I know that I've posted threads about seeing guns at local shops. No one said anything to me.

Oh ... EM (a mod) started a thread about finding AKs at Dunhams.

I think it is a great idea, normanvin. Since most forum members check this site daily, the information could be very helpful.

I have often asked my dealer for certain guns, and he usually cannot get what I want. I met a firearms broker at the Oaks, PA gun show last week. He has a Web site, and you can submit your request on it. When he finds what you want, he will contact you.

I've seen lots of these posts in the past and I don't believe there are any problems with doing so. If so, DanP will chime in soon!

There's absolutely no problem with this. Giving people heads up on guns that may be a pain to find usually is a friendly way to help your fellow gun owner.

Just don't post about guns you want and are looking for more information before going back to pick it up.

It's a good question...but I admit to doing it myself.

I simply try to be informative in the thread title so people aren't wasting time clicking on a useless link.
    - List the location (store, city)
    - List what you found
    - List the date so people don't click on a 2-yr-old thread
