i think i figured out my glock's prob.
i posted a thread a few weeks ago, sharing with all of you that i had a stovepipe with my glock. it hadnt happened before and "all of a sudden it did" so i took it shooting again and after only two magazines (30 rds) it did it again!! i felt devastated to say the least but i knew something was up since it had never done that, like an idiot i had forgotten that my brother had given me and recently installed a lasermax internal laser with spring/guide rod. so i went home and disassembled it, i didnt see anything wrong with it (but im not an expert). Not knowing it would solve anything (but said its definately worth a shot) i re-installed the original factory spring/rod assembly and visited the range again. I must have shot at least 75 rds thru it and nothing!!. i think this had to be the problem, has anybody heard anything like this before? it seems too much coincidence for me.

Re: i think i figured out my glock's prob.
You must now write "I will not put aftermarket parts on my Glock" 500 times
Seriously, how many times do i have to tell people. There's no problem with your glock, there's problems with superfluous bullshit you put on your glock

+1 marcS, well with that being said, i have heard people talkin about upgrading the guide rod to a steel one as opposed to the plastic one and a better spring..good or bad idea?

ca2pa....please refer to post above yours. The more you "upgrade" your glock, the more problems you may just create. I would leave it how it is and shoot the hell out of it.
Why fix it if it ain't broke?!?!?!?

Re: i think i figured out my glock's prob.
I have well over 5000 rounds on my lasermax G26, it went about 3000 rounds last time without a single cleaning. Zero, nadda, zilch failures of any kind.
Are you sure that you have the correct guide/rod from lasermax?

Problems with the lasermax are by far the norm.
