    Hey miles,

Thank you for the links/photos. It would be neat if all of these pics were available/for sale in a hardcover book.

They update these pages too often to be printed into a book, beside, they are free public info, and not suppose to be for sale.

It will be easier just burn them on a 25 cents CD-R if you want to carry them around!

BTW, I have a gun shop owner friend who displays them in one of those digital photo frames at his store, and it’s major attraction.

They were at one time, if not now. Here's what was hot in the 80s & pre-internet 90s...

Edward C Ezell was a significant authority on small arms, and was the curator in the Smithsonian Institute (Am Hist, IIRC). I have Small Arms of the World & Handguns of the World, they're getting a little dated by now.

And in the 70s & 80s these were on every intel office bookshelf, including mine:

Note: the link above is only the "pocket book" series, meant for field use. They were compact and the cover was waterproof. Janes (link) also had a much more detailed series that went into -exhaustive- detail about every piece of military and para-military equipment.

    Google result for Janes.

    Hey PA Rifleman,

That was so kind of you to take the time to provide all of those links for me. I really appreciate it. I'm interested in both the Small Arms/Handguns of the World (hardcover editions).

I -had- a spare copy of Ezell/SAOTW somewhere. Looks like you can get it on Amazon (link). PM me if Amazon's out & you need it. No promises, as I moved recently and the likelihood of finding something is inversely proportional to how bad I need it.

Janes is another story, I'll be entombed with mine.

    Hey PA Rifleman,

I'll just try to get these books at Amazon. Thanks for all your help.
