MOBILE AMMO TRUCK??
OK, so I'm out at Front Sight taking a class and I'm cruising down the road to the school and I see a big box truck and guys selling ammo roadside.
Really.
I don't want this to sound like a plug, but man, maybe this could this be the start of some fantastic trend where we could soon be traveling down the PA turnpike and see a roadside ammo stand???
GOD THIS IS A GREAT COUNTRY!
So I had to stop and talk to the lads. they seem like nice guys and the prices weren't bad either. I picked up a few boxes of 45 acp, went to pay, and they mentioned they take plastic.
again, really.
I took a picture of the card for you all in case you are out that way and want to look them up.
their card isn't the best, it's tough to read their website, but whatever.

An idea whose time has come. Now all we need are mobile ranges [8^).
Gloria: "65 percent of the people murdered in the last 10 years were killed by hand guns"
Archie Bunker: "would it make you feel better, little girl, if they was pushed outta windows?"

Get them to park next to the guys selling fish and meat from a truck in the Lehigh Valley. I still haven't checked out those fish deals so now I can buy ammo, too.

This could be a fantastic idea. It would be nice if they would swing by ranges and things like that. How many times has someone said I'll only take "X" boxes of this caliber, and an hour later wished they had another two or three boxes.
It is an idea who's time has come, and if I see them, I'll give them a try.I'm so fast, I can bump fire a bolt action.

Re: MOBILE AMMO TRUCK??
right, me too, and then you're pissed that you were too cheap to spring for an extra box. If i had a nickle for every time, well, I'd have a few bucks anyway. hahahaa!!
I'm gunna go on their website and try to contact them to see what it took. they got my wheels turning.
and as for the comment on their card, I said that because at first glance it's hard to see what the name of the business is, or their website.
I can't wait to go back to Front Sight. Not for these guys, but I love doing their advanced courses. the entry level classes are good, but way too slow for advanced guys. you'll end up pulling your hair out waiting for the guy who needs to be told which is the muzzle end of the gun, and the lady who can't rack the slide on the rental gun.

Re: MOBILE AMMO TRUCK??
Awesome idea! Saves on storefront rent (cheaper than a truck) and the prices are good...let's see if we can get 'em to run to SEPA once in a while!
Thanks for the info and card, PINWORMFOOD!
