NATO ammo in 9mm SC
Any 9mm I get must handle NATO ammo. My understanding is that not all guns will do so safely. My preference is for an SC, or at least the smallest gun possible. Suggestions are welcome.

Re: NATO ammo in 9mm SC
Can you please tell me which NATO ammo your new gun must handle? There has to be at least 10 specs on NATO ammo depending on the gun it was adopted for and the country of origin.
1/2 the people I know don't have a clue what NATO ammo means....but for some reason their guns must be able to use it. I guess it sounds cool to them.
If you are talking about the standard NATO handgun round that the M9 service pistol uses....
Then I think we are talking about pushing a 124 grain bullet at around 1280 FPS.
Many American ammo makers put out a 124 grain +P hollow point that will run that speed.
Glock, CZ, XD, M&P, Beretta's all will be able to handle a diet of this ammo. Just remember that the harder you push the gun, the shorter it's life span could be.
