    was this for a renewal or a first isuance? I'm still waiting on mine (they just called one of my refs today) but they already took my pic

    This was a renewal. My original was from Allegheny county, but we moved to Cranberry Twp since then, so I had to go up to Butler. I wasn't sure if it would count as a first or renewal since it was issued in a different county. When I asked, since I hadn't marked that box on the form, she told me but they handled it as a renewal, since it is a statewide license, after all. The county sheriff just issues them, and it's not renewed by county-level records.

    If you need to go in, she's the lady with salt and pepper shoulder length hair. She was very friendly and helpful.

    I handed in my application two weeks ago today. just playing the waiting game now

    You know, when I got my first license in Allegheny county, I was in and out in about 15 minutes with the license in my wallet.

    Sad thing is my court house in Elk county... We don’t even have a metal detector... There are a few different ways into the court house and not one is guarded... Anyone with anything can walk in...
