Default I wish President Obama success!

Yep, I really do. No, I did not vote for him. Nor did I vote for McCain. Me and 1240 other PAers voted Libertarian. And don't give me that crap about throwing my vote away. Since when in this great land is voting for those who better reflect our views considered a wasted vote?

It surprises me to no end to see those who claim to love the Constitution when in comes to the 2A so dismiss a legally and fairly elected President. On Jan 20, 2009 I will salute OUR new President and will say a silent pray to God to protect him as he assumes office during these difficult times.

Now, don't get me wrong - I will most likely not agree with many (any) of his policies. Yet I won't, like so many here, use the name of our President in the same sentence as Hitler or Marx or Stalin.

Do I think he has many socialistic tendency? Yep. However I am one of the few left who believes fully in our system of government. I believe it is the Constitutional right of every American to be wrong, to vote for the wrong guy. But I also believe in the American people most of all. I am sure without doubt that if our new President overreaches in his big government policies the American people will correct the ship of state.

Lets look back at the Clinton years. They came in with many of the same socialistic tendencies as we see today. After they overreached the citizens of this great land turned the tide back in the other direction just two years later in 1994.

We have a big mess in this country and I truly believe that Obama's way will actually make things worse if enacted as presented but I also believe that things need to get much worse before they get better so lets get on with it, shall we.

May God Bless and Keep the United States of America and may He also Bless and Keep our 44th President.

That took a lot of sack to say here, especially given the rampant McCarthyism running around these days. Kudos.

The outbreak of chicken littleism amongst some of the posters saddens me. As does the unwillingness to do anything about it other than bitch.

I without a doubt want him to have success. I think anyone would be crazy to want to see him fail. I do want him to have just a few little failures with his people "dems" that will keep him from getting elected for his second term. Those failures are...

    1. I don't want him to socialize health care
    2. Raise taxes.
    3. Ban guns

All of which I think will come in the second term

I just read the other day that his HCP would cover 95% of the people?!?! it's at 90+% right now including illegals!?! so really it's doing nothing!!!

Screw him and the horse he rode in on. failure will prove how wrong and lame he is. Any success will lead to a second term and then the SHTF.

I don`t respect him or most of his staff and don`t wish then well. I can only hope our nation survives an experiment in socialism.

I agree with Steve and philly that I want him to successful as a President, but not successful as a liberal socialist. To me success as a President would mean upholding the Constitution, keeping America safe from its enemies, and putting the means in place for the economy to flourish.

Unfortunately, the President-elect and I probably have different views on the best way to achieve those goals.

The question you have to ask yourself is this.

    What would O consider success????????????

I'm pretty sure of the answer therefore I wish him to fail !!!!

I hope he falls flat on his face. I hope everything he touches turns to crap. I hope his programs manage to piss off enough people that he gets impeached, tried and convicted for treason. Farking socialist in the White House.
