Default Got my CCW Permit What to buy?

Well I have my carry permit and was thinking of purchasing a Kimber .45 Ultra Crimson Carry II, Kimber CDP Carry or a Springfield EMP in 9MM.

    Any input?

I have shot the G26 and did not like the feel. I like the 23 I have, but would like something smaller and more concealable.

G26, and learn to shoot it.
    If not
G19, and learn to conceal it.

Easiest carry: a .38 lightweight snubby in your pocket. It'll always go with you.
I'm also a Glock 19 fan and do carry one when I carry OWB.
The .38 snubbies (Taurus for me, but Ruger's LCR looks interesting and some folks swear by the little S&W's) and the Glock 19 are about as reliable as one can get. There's also the added advantage that, should you ever have to use the gun and the cops confiscate it as evidence, you won't be losing a rather expensive handgun.
Well, pushed 60 too hard so now I am the big SIX-OH. Now I can be a real pain in the ass! And, who says growin' old isn't fun!!

get what you are comfortable with.
    everyone is different.......
Don't let the Block worshipers influence you to get something you aren't going to like/use.
A Kimber Ultra is designed for CC, so if you have to get a Kimber, and are going to CC, the 3" ones are the way to go.....

I got mine when I joined the Stonecutters. Woohoo!

But for my sidearm, I obtained a License To Carry Firearms from my county sheriff. It's waaaaay cooler.

I hated glocks when I first shot them. I bought for reliability, and now I love shooting my G26.
    I'm pretty adaptable though.

^^^^Great idea, listen to this guy^^^^

You just spent 30 dollars on your LTCF, now go spend $1200 on your first carry gun.

[Neo] Guns. Lots of guns. [/Neo]

While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.
