Default Newark teen becomes city's 10th murder in 10 days (those gun laws are sure working)

A 14-year-old boy was fatally shot in Newark Wednesday evening, making him the city's 10th homicide victim in the last 10 days.

The incident happened at the Riverview Terrace Housing Complex on Riverview Court, where the boy lived. Police identified the victim as Ali Rajohn Eric Henderson, who was gunned down in the courtyard area.

Friends and family members of the victim have been gathering and lighting candles at the scene.

No motive has been identified in the shooting, although sources have told Eyewitness News that a large amount of heroin and weapons were found inside the 14 year old victim's bedroom.

Most of the 10 murders over the last 10 days have taken place in the South Ward, and police say many are linked to drugs or gangs. This shooting took place near the east end of the city, at a troubled housing complex.

You tell when the gun laws are working when the murders are accomplished by stabbings, fire-bombings and blunt force traumas.

Suits me fine when the indigenous peoples are offing each other - do it long enough and the cities may become safe again!

Cory Booker is too busy running for senate. No time to curb the lawlessness.
Politicians who fear the people seek to disarm them.

People who fear their government's intentions refuse to be disarmed.

Choices and actions have consequences. I am sure the media will say that this angel died because of gun violence, but the truth is he was a fourteen year old kid slinging dope. If only Burger King would pay $20/hr he wouldn't have to feel so hopeless, it's those greedy capitalists fault.

Hanging drug pushers by their you know whats and having more good citizens armed will help, too. Oh wait, the US doesn't act like it wants drug pushers dealt with, harshly, and Jersey doesn't act like it wants citizens to have guns. My bad...
