Default Is labor/service taxable in PA?

I'm taking my motorcycle in for some service soon, and I'm wondering if labor is taxable in PA. I can't seem to remember.

Unless you are a gov't or non profit agency, yes it is taxable.

It depends. In the case of labor on a motorcycle, most likely you will be charged tax.

Labor is taxable, BUT as a building contractor/remodeler when I built something I would issue an Invoice for $x,xxx.00 when finished. Since it was a "contract job" no taxes were needed to be collect as long as I paid taxes on supplies as I bought them.

Contracted labor only required a 1099M if I was paid over $x per year. FYI

P.S. Cash did earn a 1.5% discount off the final bill.
