XS Sights tritium AR front post

Dot or stripe? Which do you think would work better? Does anyone use either of them? If so, how do you like them?

do you have or are you planning on putting a red dot (eotech, aimpoint, etc) on your AR? if so, you might want to think twice about the tritium front sight. I've seen rifles set up this way and it's downright annoying having a glowing front sight co-witnessing or even visible inside the optics.

I don't have one yet and it's probably going to be awhile before I get one. I just bought my rifle last week and that ate up my toy budget for at least a couple of months.

The XS tritium posts are only $60.00 from Brownell's, so I'm thinking one would be a good addition for now.

Thanks for the info though. I hadn't thought of the problem you pointed out.

I figure I can always switch back to the stock post when I do get optics.
