Woo YOU were an Eagle Scout? COOl.

I cracked the whip and made hubby do it, it was last minute. All the badges were in a box and never had been sewn onto a sash before. They are not sewn now either. We used Stitch Witch and will get them sewn later.

He's already in college, a Freshman at Penn State. He made Eagle before he graduated HS in June but he was off to PSU 10 days later and stayed for the summer so we never had time for a ceremony. BUT he did get scholarship moola for numerous things.

Congratulations to you and your son. I wish i could have done Order of the Arrow when i was in scouts. I was called out but ordeal weekends always interfered with some type of school function.

That is an amazing achievement. Always was, but nowadays it's even more rare. God bless you and your son.

Ah, the words are on the Internet now so you can check them out. And not the decoys, either. Kinda sad.

Congratulations! It's a tough thing to do these days - I was down to the wire when I got mine several years ago. A great achievement that will be recognized throughout his life.

    fixed it for you.

passed my board of review on August 13, 2001 but had to delay the whole ceremony because of 9/11 and not being able to get all of the congrats letters and all that neat stuff. I had to wait a little over 3 years to get my ceremony, but it was worth the wait!

mine were all crooked and uneven it was terrible, so mom went and redid them all the night before the ceremony and put them on in the order that i got them!
