Gauging interest in 9mm AR pistol/SBR/rifle GB
Hey.....
I am looking at putting together a group buy for an AR 9mm pistol/SBR/rifle group buy. The company I am looking to run the buy with is a PA based company with a great design. Nothing is definite, but its looking pretty good.
Costs have not been firmed up yet. There are a couple things that will impact the success of the buy....the total units required to make it a go and the delivery time frame.
I am looking at going to 50 units and hope to have everything delivered within a three month window from the time the buy is closed and commitments have been made. Deposits will be required in the $200.00 range.
Now that we don't have a crook looking to take away our God given Rights....think the time frame should be a non issue.
Looking to gauge interest and what your preference would be as far as Pistol/SBR/Rifle....these units are made to accept the G18 mags as well as the G17 mags (Glock).
I will be cross listing this buy across a few forums...if the interest is greater than expected, we might do staged buys so as not to overwhelm the manufacturer.
Your input would be appreciated...

I'd like to get in on this but already have a converted mag block lower.
I'm looking right now for a 6" or 7" upper for a SBR project. If one of those uppers or complete Glock setups becomes available I'd be in on it of course pending on price.Last edited by DucatiRon; November 15th, 2016 at 09:33 PM.

Re: Gauging interest in 9mm AR pistol/SBR/rifle GB
As someone who recently built a 9mm carbine, I sort of wish I had done it as a pistol.
Oh who the fuck am I kidding, I'll end up with both eventually.
Complete guns are not in the equation for me though - I need to build them a little at a time to afford them.
I would imagine I'm not alone in this situation, so maybe the upper/lower thing would work for a lot of people?I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

I think you truly need to show us a few things here.
1. What they look like.
2. Price range.
A $200 deposit is fairly steep. I am going out on a limb here and betting the total price for a pistol or SBR would be well north of $550.

As I mentioned in my first post, this is still a work in progress. Not sure we are doing a complete unit...parts are parts. I will display all the images you want once I have a feel for what we will put forward.
Price for a completed unit(pistol) will be around $700.00....but we are not sure that is the direction we are going in.
The deposit will be adjusted accordingly....On any firearm GB I require a deposit....its your skin in the game. Otherwise, I get a lot of commitments with several drop outs at the end.

I might be interested in a complete pistol. Maybe just an upper if people go that route. Can you share the company?
