Default Russell Boots, Browning Pacs, NF Sleep Bag

Have given up hunting due to worn parts (mine) so am posting:

    Item 1
Russell Moccasin Co. High Country Hunter 8” Boots – Appear New (KY)

Size 10 3E boots in Weathertuff leather. Reddish brown color as shown on Russell website at
    http://www.russellmoccasin.com/boots...ghcountry.html

Boots are insulated with 400 gram Thinsulate. Soles are standard Russell cleated airbob. These are 8 inch boots, not standard 10 inch. Otherwise as described on the website, with a cost of $373.

Boots have been worn. I wore them to tree stand either 2 or 3 times. They appear more or less new in condition. No scratches or scuffs, even though the toes look scuffed in the pics. Will be shipped in original Russell shipping box.

There is a slight white coloring on some of the leather as a result of being treated with Russell’s liquid silicone. This will quickly rub off in grass when walking. Reason for selling is I am no longer active in the field.

One lacing hook was professionally replaced because it seemed loose. This was done before they were worn. It is top right hook on right boot, as shown in pic. This hook is not a match to the others on the boot. This is only ‘defect’.

Price is $175 shipped. Satisfaction guaranteed or money back. Period.

If you wish to make a trade offer, please do so via PM.

    Item 2 SPF
Discontinued North Face Windy Pass bag.

The NF Fission bag is the nearest to the Windy Pass I can find in the current bags offered by North Face. Major difference is the Windy Pass has a waterproof (highly water resistant) Versatech shell and Polargaurd II insulation, making it heavier. It is my understanding that the use of Versatech was discontinued due to cost of the fabric. A link to the Fission is description is:
    http://www.backcountry.com/store/TNF...hield-Neo.html

The NF Cat’s Meow model would be a good comparison if the shell of that bag were water resistant.

I slept all one night between tarps in a steady rain. When I woke up, three feet of the bag was in the rain (sleeping on a slope) and there was no dampness in filter or inside.

Size according to my measurements is 84x31x19. Stuff size was advertised as 9x19, but the best I can do is 9 ½ x20. Bathroom scales give weight of about 3-10. Rating is 20 degrees

Bag is used but not abused. I do not believe it shows any wear. No spots or stains. I used it about 30 nights, of which 28 were on a cot in a tent. I have used it in an unheated tent at 15 degrees with no discomfort.
Stuff bag in pics is not included. I borrowed it to make pics.

    Satisfaction guaranteed.

    $80 shipped.

    Item 3 SPF
FS Browning Extreme Cold Pacs, size 12 (KY)

Browning Extreme Cold Pacs, size 12. I received these as a nonreturnable gift and wore them a few times to ‘be grateful’.
This is a discontinued product that is more or less as new as far as wear is concerned. They do show some stains or dirt marks and weed mars in rubber as shown in pics. The boots were sold as 12”, but they measure less than that due to ‘settling’ from setting in closet.

I do not have the papers so cannot give a specific description of the foot. The bottom underfoot is insulated with what seems to be closed cell foam, and is steel shank. The entire rubber surrounding the foot is foam insulated. I don’t know the thickness of the foam, but this is a very warm bulky boots that won’t fit in a saddle stirrup. The removable liners are wool felt with 200 gram thinsulate. Included are the liners I used a few times, and a pair of liners that were never used.

The leather to rubber attachment is sealed with the intention to be waterproof. I never got them wet so don’t know but I see no reason for them to ever leak at the join.

Sole tread is Browning’s version of airbob.

$55 shipped or trade for 1911 or Glock 19/23 pistol holster(s).
