I would like to know what gun would be the better buy if both where for sale for the same price and in the same condition?

Beretta is probably the better gun, but I would take the Ruger. I don't want any Beretta since they got in bed with the MD anti-gun crowd years ago.

Your best bet is to go too a range that rents handguns and see which one feels the best to YOUR HAND and which would be more advantageous for you to carry ( open and concealed ) Then call me and I will recomend pricing.

Just sell some crap you don't use on Ebay or Craig's List and get both. If you can only choose one, I'll simply agree with the majority here.
You can never have enough horsepower or ammunition.
