    Default Ryan Newman wins the 50th running of the Daytona 500

    Here we go. Ryan Newman starts off the Nascar season with a win at the Daytona 500. I don't know if this question has been asked before but I was just wondering how many of you are Nascar fans and who your favorite drivers are?

    anybody that drives a toyota and wins.......almost happened tonite.
    not really into nascar.
    sports cars is where it's at. left and right turns, in the dark, in the rain.

    I tried to watch the race, but I was beat......day shift always wipes me out. Glad #20 didn't win the race, can't stand him........or the #2.

    In between naps I saw my driver #24 Gordon went FUBAR due to mechanical failure. Oh well.

    I personally like chevy's. I'm not into Nascar as much as I used to be since Dale Sr. died. I liked Dale Jr. but I'm not sure if I'll stick with him this year since he went to Hendricks. Not much of a fan of his teammates (Gordon and Johnson).

    Good for Ryan I thought that was cool.

    Tank GOD it wasnt junior. I doubt his head would have fit in any of the camera shots.

    BTW. I hope Juanpablo gets booted out wont be much longer untill no one can take his crap like in F1.

    I would have watched it but I was in Harrisburg this afternoon.


    In other news, I have tickets to the Coca-Cola 600 over Memorial Day weekend at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

    I think it's funny how a lot of people hate the 20. these are the same people that liked sr. they drive the exact same way. go figure.

    I was pulling for #20 but he dropped low to try and get help from his teamate, but if he stayed high he just might have got the push needed to stay in front.
