Default A Gun in Your Face... What Should You Do

A Gun in Your Face... What Should You Do I know people who would shit their pants

What would you do if someone put a gun in your face and
demanded you turn over your gun, your wallet, or your
    wife?

Would you do like the "experts" tell you and comply
with demands of your tormentor in the hope that he does
    not hurt or kill you?

Well, let me "show and tell" you a few things about
situations like this and then you can decide which
"expert" advice you want to follow...

Give them what they want. Throw your wallet to the left, run to the right. If no chance for safe egress is present & the threat is imminent, RCAT

    Redirect
    Control
    Attack
    Take Weapon

I like to think I know what I'm doing, thus I know this is dangerous as hell. I would only do this as an absolute last resort. Nothing I have on my person is worth mine or my wife's life. Her life is well worth me risking mine hands down.

P.S. The first time I had a gun shoved in my face was by a 16 year old when I was working as a retail security manager...I threw up afterwards.

I've been there, I've done that, I've got the tshirt, and its a few sises too small by now.

If I'm the victim of a simple robbery, like last time, I will comply as I did last time. If the situation is different - a friend or colleague with me, a situation that goes beyond simple theft - then I will probably take the first opening I see to end the situation. If that is by fleeing, I will do so, if I must stand my ground, then I'll have to trust the divine powers that be to guide my flimsy, flabby computer technicianing form in ending the situation. If I succeed, good for me. If I fail, I can spend the rest of eternity critiquing my performance on the heavenly replay reel.

< had a gun in his face while working at a fast food restaurant.

It's easy to say what you'll do, and what you think you'd do and what you'd never do. It's a different ballgame when it's actually happening.

so did you rcat with the 16 year old?

and the only time i'd resist is if he were trying to get my gun or my wife. i will not be disarmed, and i WILL NOT hand over a family member. everything else is replacable.
