SEC investigator on leave after threat allegations
NOt sure if this has been posted already. Search function doesn't bring it up.
http://news.yahoo.com/exclusive-sec-...7--sector.html
This portion of the article caught my eye:
"Among the complaints by SEC staff about Weber are that he openly spoke about wanting to carry a concealed firearm inside the SEC's headquarters building in Washington, the sources said.
He also solicited investigators inside the office to participate in special training so they could become eligible for a concealed weapons permit and brought a bullet-proof vest into work, the sources said."
What is wrong with people? If I talk about wanting to have our company (no weapons) policy changed, encourage others to get trained or to get their CC permits, and exercise their constitutional rights, I can be perceived as a threat?
Sounds rather odd.
