FFL in the area?
Going to be a bit before my C&R comes through, and wanted to buy a pistol online, but the transfer fees for most places I know of are pretty steep.
Since gunrunnersofPA is closed for business, anyone else local handling this kind of stuff for a modest price? I would be hitting them up for 2 transfers, one for myself and one for a friend.
(Yeah, been away for a while... going to have to stop on once and a while and not just lurk)

There are two in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.
BILL HUGHES TAXIDERMY
3610 DOWNING ST
LIBRARY PA 15129

I have not used personally, but a guy that I work with has and states that he is good to work with. He charges $25
Lock Stock & Barrel Firearms
Mark Richardson
2783 Tischler Rd
Bethel Park, PA 15102
(412) 953-1612
He is a gunsmith and he does FFl transfers and he charges a $20 fee and $5 for PICS. I just used him for a purchase on Remington 870. It was a very nice transaction A side note: A buddy took a Mosberg 500 to him for what was thought to be a problem and turned out to be nothing. His fee for this was nothing.

Re: FFL in the area?
I second giving Jack at GunRunner's a call. He's a great guy to deal with and will transfer anything you need for $25 ($20 transfer, $5 PICS) and no sales tax. I've used him multiple times and will be using him again when I finish saving up for my next purchase. He doesn't have a lot of guns for sale in the shop, but he can order in anything you might be looking for, at a better than on-line price in most cases. Been there, done that, will be doing it again shortly
His shop is located just up the road from Canonsburg hospital, at the top of the hill, on the lower side of the shops located there at the 4 way intersection. His hours are 2PM to 6PM Monday through Friday and 10AM to 2PM on Saturday. His phone number is 724-745-8900.I declare to you that woman must not depend upon the protection of man, but must be taught to protect herself, and there I take my stand. -- Susan B. You can also try JR's Customs. If you would follow 88 to Brownsville Road, he is off of Brownsville past the Exotic Dancer's on Lebanon Church.

Gunbroker.com has established a dealer network. It's not always up-to-date but all you need to do is type in your zip code.
