Default Can wife carry handgun "in my name"

I'm sure this has been covered here before but I can't find anything.

Anyway, I was having a discussion with one of my gun buddies about my wife carrying (she has a CC permit) a handgun that I bought but she mostly uses. He was saying she can't "because its not in her name" and I say since the handgun "is in the family and we're both legal" it's fine since there is no "registry."

I'm sure somebody has the answer. Thanks!

in PA, records of sales are kept at official transfers. But, handguns are not "registered" in anyones' names.

Agreed with previous. She can carry your firearm with her LTCF.

    yes, she can.

(the issue isn't really is she allowed to carry it as much as it is whether or not you are allowed to lend it to her. but, you are allowed to lend a handgun to anyone who has an LTCF, so you can lend it to her.)

Yes she can borrow your handgun. It is allowed if she has a licence to carry a firearm. Pa. does not have a registry.

Tranfer between husband and wife requires no paperwork.

A license holder may borrow and carry any legal handgun.
