Gunbroker question?
I was hoping somone might be able to help me out with finding some info about a seller on GB. The user name is meade74. I've tried to email the seller before I bid on it but haven't heard anything back. They were selling a SWEET M1A that I wanted to get but I didn't have a copy of my local shops FFL available since I am currently in Iraq. (no excuse I know)
Here is the listing link but its going to stop working soon.

Re: Gunbroker question?
It says it's closed.
I am a cynical guy, don't trust too many people, and think a lot of people are bad. If you cannot get a hold of someone before you buy, then there is no reason that you should think the communication will be better after you buy.
What unit are you in?

2/104th CAV And Yea I was starting to think something was a little odd since the guy didn't get back to me at all. I shoot with the MTU in PA and that rifle actually was fairly well know in the MTU when it was first built.

Re: Gunbroker question?
You can also send the folks who run gunbroker a note with what happened. Give them all the details and the fact that due to your location it's kinda hard to get in touch with the seller other than by email.

Re: Gunbroker question?
I wouldn't call that cynical, I'd call it prudent. If you ask a seller a question, and don't get a response, don't buy. If they lie and you buy, Gunbroker will protect you. If they don't answer and you buy, you're stuck if you get less than you expected, unless the ad contained a false statement.
FYI: The auction timed out, but there were no bidders so it might come back at a lower starting bid.
Thank you for service.
