    Default mod. 92 fs rail

i was looking for a standard rail for my beretta and all i found were clamp on systems that intrude on the trigger space, something i dont want. what iam considering is tapping the frame of the pistol to take a rail. maybe do it myself maybe have it done for the right price? i am not sure. maybe there is a different system i dont know about that does not get into the trigger space.
    any input is greatly appreciated.

that clamp on trigger deal is about the best you will find. the aluminum is very thin where you would want to tap, and you have to make sure you dont install anything that will hinder the slides movement.

you really only have two options... an new M9A1 with a rail, or the add on rail.

you COULD get REAL expensive and have a rail built for it and have it TIG welded on then machined out on the back side... then re-harden te receiver... but that would cost more than an M9A1...

you could try some JB weld, but would need to roughen up the surface of the receiver a bit and i dont think it would hold for too long...
