What's the deal there for guests? Do you have to buy their ammo? BYO? Restrictions, etc?

The guest fee is $10. They say they want you to buy their ammo. I normally buy one box (about $16 for a 50 rd box of FMJ 9mm) but bring a couple hundred rounds of my own, I haven't been questioned about that yet. The times that I go (late afternoon) I'm pretty much the only one on the range. I print my own targets but they do supply you with a standard ones, part of the fee. The guys behind the counter stay pretty busy with sales, so no one really there to bother you. I have done some rapid fire, but mostly steady two handed shots. I'm not sure how they feel about draw and fire. The place is pretty archaic compared to SPAG, dimly lit, no yard markers but since I bought my CW9 there and they gave me a few free range trips and a deal on a yearly membership $75, plus took the time to show me how to break down the gun, I joined. At the time every other range in the area was well over $100 for a year. I didn't know about the SPAG Glock day deal. (I may join there too, if I have the cash that day) That's about all I know about the joint, anything in particular you wanted to Know Don?

Like I said I buy one box and bring my own too, they mentioned buying their ammo, but in the membership rules I was given there was no mention of it. Maybe I'll see you there?

A definite maybe! Right now I have a house without heat, a car with overdue inspection, and broken Internet access...assuming I get those minor issues out of the way, I'd probably stop by there.

Someone told the manager of Firing Line about my posts concerning bringing my own ammo in addition to buying a box of theirs. I talked to the manager today when I got there via phone, they had my account tagged I guess, their rules, for insurance purposes I'm told, are you can only use ammo bought at Firing Line on their range. So much for trying to economize my practice shooting.
