Pics of the new camera & gear
Here it is, the object of my desire for some time now. I picked up a few lenses, a few compact flash cards and my gf got me the bag for my birthday. Yesterday I picked up a tri-pod and mono pod..

I have a canon EOS rebel 300D right now, I had an XTI but I felt my 300D took better pictures, its not as fast but the pics look better, in the next year im going to try the 40D and see how that works for me.

I was looking at the D50 & 80 but my Dad said I should get a D2. He's a Pro and has 100's of camera's.im going to try the 40D and see how that works for me.
Could have bought a nice AR.Do you know how much ammo and porn you could have bought for that much money?

Nice. I bought one right when the cut the price before the D2Hs came out. It may only be 4MP, but for a sensor that physical size, it is capable of taking really nice pictures. If you are going to use a flash, I strongly recommend getting one of the i-ttl ones (SB-800 is what I have).

Did they lower the price yet on the D2X?
When I was looking at them, they cost an arm and a leg.
Since spending an leg on my last Nikkor lens, I really don't want to be a multiple amputee.
I guess I will just have to limp along with the D80 for now.
Congratulations on the new gear. I hope you have many years of enjoyment from it.
