Default WTB/WTT: Box, haveahart trap 4 groundhogs.

We have a huge groundhog problem! Before you say "Just shoot them" I have been. The problem is that they are very smart and I am gone for most of the day leaving them plenty of time to prance in the pastures and dig under the house. The best option as of right now is to keep a trap set up so i can check it twice a day and still continue my normal hunting routine.

I have a few old leg traps but would rather not use them because of the cats, dogs, and horses on the prperty. A box trap would be perfect and the wire versions would allow me to check them from a distance saving time and energy.

I am open for a trade, purchase, or even a rental system. I have a few humdred rounds of x39, some other ammo for trades, or just let me know.

    Thanks! Brian

I have a groundhog problem as well and would buy a couple traps except I have no clue what to put in for bait. Is that correct that I would need bait?

Yes, you will need some bait.

Best bet is fresh fruits and veggies. Snap peas and cantelope have worked int he past for me. I tried come cracked corn cause it was laying round but that almost repelled them.

So break out a salad and grab a gun. I've been bringing the SKS most times. (Not quite legal on 3 levels, but I like it)

    Thanks!
I live in a small town, otherwise I'd just take the time to shoot them. It's not worth getting arrested over.
