Where to buy .223 ammo around Latrobe/Greensburg/Indiana area

Where is the best place to get cheap but decent .223 ammo around Latrobe, Greensburg, Blairsville or Indiana? I need to get a couple hundred rounds for the West PA Group Shoot coming up soon!

Gander Mountain sells Wolf .223 ammo for $5 for 20 rounds and I believe they have American eagle or $80 for 200 rounds I think they have UMC for a decent price also

I called Gander Mt in Greensburg and all they have right now is $8 for 20 rounders but they do have 200 rounds for $59.00 ($.29 per round) A shop in Saltsburg has Winchester white box 20 rounders for $5.49 ($.27 per round) I may just go up to Saltsburg and pick up a few hundred rounds...after all, he gave me a great deal on the Bushmaster!

I've been calling around this morning but most prices are outrageous..if they even have it on stock!!

$250 cases of wolf or $400 cases of american eagle. You should be able to find wolf online for about $210 shipped. Problem is finding it in stock somewhere.

For this weekend, I found some Wolf at Woodland's Edge in Delmont. Good enough for plinking!

Didn't want to start a new thread for this question. Forgive my ignorance, but is a .223 remington and a 5.56 nato basically the same thing? In other words will one gun shoot both? I have seen one place call them the same and another say that they aren't.

They are not exactly the same. Shooting a 5.56 round in a rifle that was chambered for .223 will cause higher than normal chamber pressure; however, a rifle chambered for 5.56 can handle both .223, and 5.56.
